Who We Are
Beaver Foundation was established by Ministerial Order as a corporation under the Alberta Housing Act, to provide well-maintained, affordable and adequate housing accommodation and care for seniors and low-income individuals, through the operation of lodges and self-contained facilities.
Beaver Foundation operates with a $4.4 million dollar operating budget. The Foundation manages four lodges, five self contained facilities and employs 85 staff.
Our staffing components consist of a head cook, a second cook, kitchen aides as needed, evening and night staff, activity coordinators, and maintenance personnel.
In addition, a Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) and four Site Managers, form our management team.
Beaver Foundation belongs to the Alberta Senior Citizens Housing Association (ASCHA) as well as the Alberta Public Housing Administrator's Association (APHAA).
Our Mission
To provide well maintained, affordable and adequate housing accommodation to those in greatest need in an unbiased manner.
Beaver Foundation serves senior citizens and low-income individuals, with a priority given to seniors residing within Beaver County.
What We Do
Beaver Foundation is responsible for ensuring safe and caring accommodations to citizens at an affordable cost; giving priority to those within the geographical jurisdiction of Beaver Foundation.
Beaver Foundation currently provides housing management to 4 lodges and 5 self contained manors across 4 communities.
